Organize PDF

This tool reorganizes the page order of your PDF. Enter a page order such as 3,1,2 to arrange pages the way you want, or leave the order empty to reverse the whole document — the last page becomes the first, and the first becomes the last. One click turns a document scanned from the back page first into a correctly ordered file.

Reversing is the most common page-order repair, because scanners and auto-feeders frequently capture multi-page documents in reverse.

The pages themselves are untouched — only their sequence changes, so text, images, and layout are preserved exactly.

The PDF is loaded in browser memory with pdf-lib. The tool copies every page into a new document in reverse order — the original's last page first, and so on — then saves the result.

Because pages are copied at the object level rather than re-rendered, quality is preserved exactly; only the sequence changes.

The reordered PDF is assembled in memory and offered as a download with a preview, so you can confirm the order before saving.

Reordering pages in pdf-lib is a structural operation: each page's content is copied into a new document in the target sequence. Nothing is re-rendered or re-encoded, so pages keep their text, fonts, images, and quality exactly.

The current version of this tool reverses the whole document in one operation — ideal for the common back-to-front scan problem. More granular reordering, such as moving individual pages, is not offered here.

Memory is the practical limit: the source document is held in memory while pages are copied. For very large files, processing in parts is the reliable approach.
