What does Delete PDF Pages do?
This tool builds a new PDF from every page except the ones you name. Type the pages to remove (for example 1-3,5) and the tool keeps everything else, renumbering the remaining pages sequentially.
It is the inverse of Extract PDF Pages: here you specify what to remove, there you specify what to keep. Both produce a new PDF without the unwanted pages.
The kept pages are copied at full quality — text, images, and layout are preserved exactly.

How does it work?
The PDF is loaded in browser memory with pdf-lib. Your page input is parsed into a set of page numbers; the tool then copies every page that is not in that set into a new document.
Pages are copied at the object level rather than re-rendered, so the remaining pages are identical to the originals. The new file is assembled in memory and offered as a download with a preview.
All processing happens locally in the browser — the file never leaves your device.

How the details work
Deleting pages is a page-level operation: pdf-lib copies every page that should stay into a new document, skipping the ones you listed. Remaining pages keep their content, fonts, and images exactly, and are renumbered in sequence.
The page input accepts ranges (1-10), singles (3,7,9), and combinations (1-5,8,10-15). Out-of-range numbers are ignored, and duplicate selections have no effect.
Because the tool always creates a new file, your original PDF is never modified. Memory is the practical limit for very large source documents.

Can I undo a deletion?

Use dashes for ranges (1-10) and commas for individual pages (3,7,9). Combine them as needed: 1-5,8 removes pages 1 through 5 and page 8, keeping everything else.
What is the difference between this and Extract PDF Pages?
